VEGAN CARAMEL SLICE
This slice is very nostalgic of intermediate cooking class. Try it out & let us know.
Dry Ingredients
1/2 cup almond flour or grind whole almond to a crumb-like consistency.
1/2 cup Hemp protein powder
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup white rice flour
1/2 cup raisins
3 tsp baking powder
Wet ingredients
2 Tablespoons flaxseed soaked in 1/4 cup of hot water for around 15 mins
2 tsp vanilla
2 Tablespoons treacle
3 Tablespoons Savour Butta
Directions
Combine the wet and dry ingredients
Adding a little more water if necessary.
Press into a lined baking dish.
Bake at 200C for around 10 to 15 mins.
Allow to cool before icing
Icing
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 teaspoon Butta
Around 2 Tablespoons of hot water
Place the Butta and icing sugar into a bowl and add the hot water slowly, 2 teaspoons at a time until you have a not too runny icing.
You may not need all the water
When the slice is cool, drizzle the icing over the top.
